Protected Reserve of Magellanic Penguins. Full-day excursion. The tour includes a visit to the Interpretation Center within the reserve, followed by a 3 km walk along trails among penguins and a variety of terrestrial fauna such as guanacos, rheas, and maras.
Punta Tomo is the largest continental colony of Magellanic penguins in the world, framed in a stunning landscape of red volcanic rocks.
To get Punta Tombo we will drive along the National Highway number 3 and the final 20 km on gravel road.
Once there, we will visit an Interpretation Center and then we will go for a 3 km walk trail seeing not only penguins but other wild animals such as American llamas, rheas, Patagonic hares and elegant crested tinamus as well.
Lunch and entrance fee are not included in the price of the tour.
